Yesterday was a milestone for our family, especially for our little guy....Peyton started Preschool yesterday at Wesley United Methodist Church....Poor guy, had a long 17 hour drive with us on Saturday, then we had church on Sunday, and then he had to start his first day of Preschool, with a room of complete strangers....I am sooooo PROUD of him!!! He would tell me bits of pieces of his day....this is some of the things he said he did...
-The teacher read them 3 stories on the carpet.
-He cooked at the kitchen area, he cooked in the microwave, he made....pizza & macaroni and cheese!
-He played outside....I asked him if he played in the playhouse, and he said no, that the girls were in there, and when the boys tried to go in there they would all say "AHHHHHH"...he then asked me why the girls did that LOLOLOL! I love it!
-He had a snack...they had cheese-its and juice and donuts (then he said not really! Lol!)
-His Nana asked him if there were little boys to play with he said and GIRLS lol!!!
So Peyton is definitely growing up, our lil guy that 4 years ago, was such a tiny little baby, is now going to School! I'm so Proud of him, have I said that already ;0)
Last week we went to San Antonio for the General Assembly....we met my parents in Tyler, TX so they could pick up Peyton for the week, and take him back to Van Alstyne to visit....Jason and I stayed in a really nice hotel the Marriott RiverCenter
We took 5 of our teenagers to compete in 6 different categories for Teen Talent....The included:
-Monologue
-Human Video
-Solo Mime
-Bible Teaching
-Piano
-Website Design
And out of the 6 we came back with 3 trophies....we had 2 National Champions in Piano and Website Design, and runner-up in Monologue! And out of the 7 trophies Tennessee received for the entire Teen Talent....3 of them were from our church! We were very proud of them.....
But, in the middle of the week, on Tuesday afternoon, my brother called me...my grandmother, my Nanie had been in a tragic accident, she had a massive heart attack while driving, and ran into a house....a man tried to do cpr on her immediately and the Emt's had to recitate her 3 times....she is currently in the hospital, in ICU, on life support and is non-responsive, please pray for her...her name is Elaine Pettit....an amazing lady!!! here is a picture of her....
We have had a loaded week.....Enjoy the slideshow of Peyton's first day and some other pictures...

Summer 2008 for the Sharpe's
Well, Youth Camp 2008 is officially over, as of last Thursday, thank goodness!!!! This was a very very tiring year for youth camps, for several reasons....The main reason is because I found I was PREGNANT half way through the 4 weeks of camps!!! We are all so very excited, and we will know better next Wednesday when our projected due date is, I think I'll be due the 1st week of March, which is ironic, because my birthday is March 1st, and I always said I wanted my 2nd by the time i'm 30!!!!! And that's right to the date! God has a sense of humor LOL
But, I'm feeling alright, but this week I've started my nauseousness, it's tough, it's like I feel really sick in my stomach, but I don't want to throw up, and I really don't have an urge to throw up, thank goodness, that is my least favorite thing to do!!! I'm guessing I'm about 6 weeks along....
Peyton is so excited about being a Big Brother! He has already said he wants one of both--a boy and a girl LOL, silly boy! He even said I will clean up ALL the messes! We shall see lol! Last night he told me he wanted a bunk bed, and the baby could sleep on the top bunk, I then said Peyton, wouldn't you rather like to sleep on the top since you'll be the Big Brother, he then agreed with me, but we aren't buying bunk beds LOL!
Jason is excited too!! He announced it to the teenagers last week that we are having a new "youth" in March...they didn't get it, so he had to say Baby Sharpe is coming in March!!! LOL They are all excited, a couple of them wanted us to have a baby before they graduated, and they graduate in May 2009!!! LOL
Well, that's the latest in the world of the Sharpe's! This weekend, actually Friday, Peyton is going to his 1st Major League Baseball Game...the Braves game, we take our youth every summer, and then we're all going to Six Flags on Saturday, UGHHHH, not looking forward to it, but what we do for our teens, I will definitely NOT be riding ANY rides!!!! Baby comes first, although, I'll miss riding!!! I'll post pictures as soon as possible!
Love ya'll!

Summer 2008 has begun....
Happy Father's Day to our Dads....Calvin Hall and Brian Sharpe, and Happy Father's Day to my amazing husband, who is the Daddy to our lil man!!!
We have done a lot thus far in one month!
Peyton has ended and did a great job in his swim lessons at the YMCA. He enjoyed it so much! And now we are swimming a couple of times a week in his grandparent's pool, and he's showing off all of the things he learned! This year, he is a lot more daring, he loves to dive off the diving board!!! But, I'm so proud of him! I love the floating device that the YMCA uses, it goes around his waist and it's like 4 square floats on his back. Peyton loves it too!! Last year he wore the bathing suit with the float inside of it. So this is a lot better and he isn't secluded to a swimsuit that covers his entire boday.
We also had a Youth/Children's Department Golf Tournament. Which was a great success!!! Peyton and I worked the tournament, and while the guys played he hit some golf ball off the Driving Range and some on the putting green, he is our little golfer! I would never of guessed that I would have a son that loved golf so much!!!! But, I do! :0)
We have started our Church of God Youth Camps too at Signal Mountain Campground. We just had the Senior Teen Camp ages 15-17. It was a great camp with Lee Claypoole as the Camp Speaker. We didn't have a huge group from our church attend, but those that went seemed to love it!! Jason played a key role in organizing camp this year, and he loves it! I am very proud of him!
This Friday mom, dad, and Becca are coming in for Peyton's birthday party, which is Saturday at Playworld Down Under. So, we're excited about that! This week is also Tennessee State Camp Meeting in the mornings and at night...so it's a break off from Youth Camps...Friday Morning Jason will receive his Ordained Bishop Certificate, this is the highest rank of license for the Church of God, so this is a big deal, and it'll be a ceremony during Friday Morning Camp Meeting.
So, this is the up-to-date of the Sharpe's....:0)
And pictures...

What's going on with Jason, Christina, & Peyton?
Well, it's starting to get chaotic in the Sharpe household...even more so....now that summer is almost here!!!
Every day during the week we are doing something!
Then on the weekends, we have different things going on, such as this Saturday is a friend's shower at my house, then Mother's Day is Sunday with a Church Picnic...then the next weekend is the church's Men's Retreat, and a T.O.O.L.S. Conference Jason is speaking at! And then the next weekend Jason and I are taking our Seniors to Orlando for their senior trip! SIGH! I'm exhausted just thinking about just what's going on in May!
Peyton is doing great! He has started playing ball more outside, he can really hit the ball, and not from a tee :0) Then of course he LOVES playing golf outside, and he went to the driving range twice last week, which helps him even more!!! I can't believe I have a little golfer, I would NEVER would of guessed that! since my dad didn't golf and wasn't raised up around golfing :0)
The pics I'm putting on here is of his first swim lessons this year, and also pics of Peyton and his little friend Paige (again) he loves her!
Paige and Peyton making really funny faces:
More funny faces...
Peyton playing Guitar Hero!!!
Waiting to start his swim lessons...
Splashing his teacher, which, he is more advanced than this is the water, I don't know why they were doing this, but they didn't ask the parents ;0) LOL
