First snow of 2008!!! How exciting!! Too bad it was ABOVE freezing lol

But, Peyton LOVED it!!!

Uncle Shane & Aunt Heidi will appreciate this picture :0)!!!

Here it is already January 23rd!
This month has FLOWN by!!!
We're all doing so well....
This past weekend Jason was out of town, for a Tools Conference, so Peyton and I went on a DATE! We went to see the new Veggie Tales...the Pirates Who don't Do Anything! It was quite cute! If I had known that it would of been opening night of 27 Dresses, I would of passed on going Friday night though, just didn't want to be at the house by ourselves on a Friday night....The line was forever long :0( Once we got in got the popcorn it had already started, but Peyton was ok with that! The movie was good, just a few things that disturbed Peyton...such as the cheese curls chasing one of the little guys, I could tell because he got REALLY tense!! I was holding his hand and he was squeezing it pretty hard, poor thing! I'm just thankful the pirates didn't have skeletons on their hats, a little too much for a 3 year old! But, when the movie was over he didn't want to leave lol, he said can we stay? Hard to explain to a 3 year old, that you can't just hang out in a movie theater HAHA!

Another thing Peyton is big on is the XBOX 360 his uncle Justin got him a pack of 3 for Christmas, the Pixar Cars and Open Season and another one, he loves 2 out of the 3, and is pretty good at it! I can actually do the games, and I've never been big on all that! lol

:0) We love all of you guys!

2007-What a Year

2007 has already come and gone, as of 5 days ago, I seriously cannot believe it's already gone!!

January-was a month that wasn't much of anything going on...

February-we knew it was about to get super busy in our household...

March-we decided to sell our first home we actually bought, to make money on it, and buy another home that we will sell in 2 years...that was an adventure in of itself, but God knew our intentions--mine were to get out of the home, that the porch was 12 ft about the concrete driveway that scared me half to death with a very active toddler turning preschooler!! The first couple that looked at the home BOUGHT the house! God is so good! We moved into our new place the last weekend in March...

April-Peyton and I flew to Texas for my grandparents 50th anniversary, that was so mcuh fun! and Peyton was the best little traveler I was so proud of him!!! :0)

May-graduation month for our teenagers, we took our Seniors to Orlando for a long weekend to Universal Studios Florida, it was a blast!

June-Peyton turned 3 on June 21st and we had a Cars themed b-day at our house!! Youth camps began!! It wore us out, especially since my office is the one that conducts them and organizes them...Senior Teen Camp I was there the whole week, as well as Jason, and Peyton stayed Jason's parents....and camp lasted through July...

July-Recovering from Camp

August....same...

October-First week of October went to a family trip to Orlando with Jason's parents and brother and Aunt and Uncle...that was a blast! I wish my family would do something like this...

November...and December ;0) I blogged

We had a wonder year! God has blessed us as a family, and to watch our little guy grow up so much and develop physically, emotionally, spiritually...in everything has been awesome! God has blessed us in our jobs, in the ministry as youth pastors...We are thankful to have Him as our Lord and Saviour!!

I am attaching some pictures of our Christmas with my family :0) enjoy!

It's Christmas time!

It's Christmas Time in the Sharpe household! I cannot believe it's ALREADY here! I have put some pictures on here....some are of us at my work Christmas Party, went to a place called the Enchanted Lights on Rock City, in Chattanooga...it was a blast, and it was gorgeous! We had so many Christmas Parties to attend with being in the Ministry, from the Youth Christmas party to the Church staff Christmas party-- I am so thankful that they are now finished!
Then the picture where Peyton is opening the present, was tonight, Friday, the 21st, he opened his first present from us, and he loved it as you can see in the photos :0) He LOVES the Cars Movie!!
And then there is the picture of Santa, Peyton was so excited to tell Santa he was wanting a new bike and a guitar, the guitar was new to us ;0)
Then, there is the photo of our home decorated on the outside with lights, our first Christmas in our new home!!
As you can see I love taking pictures, and especially during Christmas time!! I truly enjoy Christmas time, and with a lil man, that is 3 it makes it even more fun!! Even with all the loud noised cars he has haha I still love it!
He loves to hear about Baby Jesus and that is the true meaning of Christmas, but he lets us know now that Jesue is not a baby anymore, but is "Big"....how sweet is that?? What 3 year old says that??!! Amazing! I pray that Jason and I will continue to try to be the perfect example of Christ to Peyton, it's hard at times when we get onto him, but Patience, Patience, Patience, is what I have been taught through the past 3 and half years!! Anyhow, I love Christmas! I love Christmas with my husband, my beautiful lil man, and my family and friends!!
Love you guys! Hope you have a Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year!!
We're heading out on Monday, the 24th to go to Texas for a week. I am so excited to go "home" and visit my family and friends! Merry Christmas!!!

Thanksgiving and Christmas Tree Decorating

I cannot believe Thanksgiving has already came and is now gone. This year we went to Brian and Naomi Sharpe's house (Jason's parents) and had lunch with....Gramma and Grampa Sharpe (Jason's grandparents) Grandpa Koester (Naomi's dad-Jason's granddad), Jerry and Terry Sharpe (Jason's dad's brother & sis in law), Benjamin Sharpe-their son, Blair his girlfriend; then Justin and Peyton and Jason. It was a nice lunch and Peyton had fun entertaining althought he wasn't 100% we took a family picture for our Christmas pictures, which I'm not too thrilled about but they look good I guess ;0). Then after lunch I called my family in Texas, and the ritual is to pass around the phone so I can say hi to everyone, and that was just hard for me this year, especially when my Aunt Elaine got on the phone and said she's excited about meeting Peyton, because after 3 1/2 years she has never seen him, that really really bothered me.....and made me really homesick....but soon we'll be flying home to Texas!!!!

During the Wednesday to Sunday I was off that week we put together our 9 ft Christmas tree, it was a Christmas tree that Jason's parents let us borrow, very sweet of them. We were going to decorate it Silver and Red but decided on Silver, Red and Gold and it's very pretty I think ;0) and even Peyton has a tree, it's of course, a Tennessee Vols with Orangish and White balls and his ornaments I have started to collect for him since his 1st christmas, a tradition mom started w/us kids :0) He is very proud of his little tree!!!! and instead of him decorating our very delicate ornaments he decorated with his ornaments and he was very careful with it, it was very sweet :0)

Then the next day was Thanksgiving and the first thing he said when he got our of bed was is Santa coming today ;0) how sweet is that?? I had to explain Santa had to eat his thanksgiving meal....

So, Peyton is asking for a Lightning McQueen bike for Christmas from Santa Claus...we'll see what Santa can do ;0)

(enjoy the pics)

First College Game!

So, Peyton went to his first football game on Saturday, November 10th! He went with his daddy, poppa, and Clay Moody....unfortunately it was a guy trip ;0) mommy had to go to a wedding shower, but that's ok! Daddy took some pretty cute pictures so I could see him there! He had a great time considering he left at 8 a.m. and didn't get back until 6 that night!! What a tired little boy he was!

Brazilian Soccer Player

Sooooooo, I missed writing about our Halloween Experience...Peyton went as a Brazilian Soccer Player, he was just the cutest thing!!

Peyton trick or treated at just a few homes....his grandparents, and his great-grandparents homes as well as a co-worker of mine...Paula & Tim Cowdell's....

We then went to a church's Trunk or Treat, and went around to their trunks and got some candy and Peyton played on the inflatables.

Then our church along with another church in town were at the mall and had a ton of games and candy, and Peyton had a blast there too!!! It was a fun Halloween 2007!
